Since joining Foros, Oz has advised clients in the software, business services, telecom, insurance and specialty finance industries, including advising Methode on its acquisition of Grakon, UNFI on its acquisition of SUPERVALU, Dassault Systèmes on its acquisition of Exa, Methode Electronics on its acquisition of Pacific Insight, Allied International on its sale to XL Group; Dassault Systèmes on its acquisition of Accelrys; CA Technologies on its acquisition of Automic, its divestiture of arcserve to Marlin Equity and its divestiture of ERwin to Parallax Capital Partners; Nielsen on its sale of Claritas to Carlyle Group; Silicon Labs on its acquisition of Energy Micro; JLL Partners on the sale of its stake in NetSpend; and Moduslink on strategic alternatives and the investment by Steel Partners.
Prior to joining Foros, Oz was a Director in Insurance in the Financial Institutions Group at Deutsche Bank. Oz joined Deutsche Bank in 2007 from HSBC Securities. Oz spent the first five years of his investment banking career at Lazard Frères & Co. as an advisory banker. Prior to Lazard, Oz worked for the International Finance Corporation and the World Bank.
Oz earned a B.A. (cum laude) in Mathematics and Economics from Macalester College and an M.S. in Foreign Service (magna cum laude) and an M.A. in Economics from Georgetown University.
