Foros Leadership in Software M&A

Friends:

We are pleased to share with your our continuing strong track record of advising software clients by highlighting our recent software M&A activity.

– Last month, we advised Boston-based Rapid7, Inc. (NASDAQ: RPD; Market Cap: $7 billion), a leading provider of security analytics and automation, on its $335 million acquisition of IntSights, a Tel-Aviv based threat intelligence leader.

– In May, we advised Vancouver and San Jose-based Absolute Software Corporation (NASDAQ: ABST; Market Cap: $750 million), a leader in Endpoint Resilience™ solutions, on its $340 million acquisition of NetMotion, a remote secure access platform providing connectivity and security solutions.

– Lastly, earlier this year we advised, Seattle-based F5 Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ: FFIV; Market Cap: $13 billion), the global leader in application security and delivery, on its $500 million acquisition of Volterra, the first universal edge-as-a-service platform to deploy and secure applications.

We are proud of our long-term partnerships with our clients that form the basis of these successful transactions. Since our founding, we have advised on 23 software transactions totaling over $7 billion in deal volume, including 14 transactions in the past 5 years alone.

While we continue to advise a broad swath of technology companies in the software, hardware, information technology, semiconductor and other areas, we have also maintained our focus on complex situations and transactions across industries. For other clients and transactions we have advised on, please visit www.forosgroup.com.

Our exceptionally strong overall results this year demonstrate that our clients across industries value highly strategic M&A advice – derived rigorously, delivered with integrity and targeting long-term value creation.

We thank you again for your partnership that has helped Foros thrive over the years.
