George FoussianesSenior Advisor

George is an investment banking industry veteran, with decades of extensive experience in M&A, corporate finance and debt and equity capital markets, advising clients across industries. Over the course of his career, George has built and run businesses for JPMorgan Chase & Co, HSBC Securities and Goldman, Sachs & Co. In addition to advising clients, George also serves as senior advisor to the CEO on strategic matters.

Prior to joining Foros, George founded and led the Mid-Cap Investment Banking Business at JP Morgan from 2011 to 2014. Previously, George served as Global Head of Consumer/Retail Investment Banking Coverage and Global Co-Head of the Financial Sponsor Coverage Group. Prior to joining JP Morgan, George was Head of Global Banking and Chairman, Americas at HSBC from 2005 to 2007. Prior to joining HSBC, George was a Managing Director in the Industrials/Natural Resources Group at Goldman, Sachs & Co., where he began his investment banking career in 1988. Key advisory relationships have included The Home Depot, Jarden, Pearson plc and Bass Pro Shops.

Before attending business school, George played first and third base in the minor leagues with the Texas Rangers, Kansas City Royals and Detroit Tigers organizations.

George earned his B.S. in Business Administration at the University of Michigan and a Master’s Degree in Management, Finance and Accounting from Northwestern University – Kellogg School of Management.
